Baseball Chapel

While watching a Blue Jays game today I noticed Jason Grilli writing something in the sand on the pitchers mound. I’ve seen him do this many times and always wondered what he was writing.  I did a quick search on Google and found that he writes the initials of a friend who died in a baseball game and his grandmother.  He also draws a cross as part of his Christian beliefs which lead me to accidentally come across the website Baseball Chapel. They are dedicated to ministering to baseball players and their families while they travel.  This includes Jason Grilli who has a testimonial on the site.  I thought that was really cool.  The site even has a list of prayer requests from major league baseball players.
